The Estimate & Installation Process
We understand that getting an estimate for major repairs to your home can be intimidating. But rest assured, the professionals at Norton's Quality Exteriors will make the process as smooth and easy as possible.
Most contractors either drop off a bid (sometimes without ever even speaking to the homeowner!) or use a high–pressure one–call–close approach – where they come by, talk to the homeowner for a few seconds, whip up a bid, and then pressure the homeowner to sign the contract right then and there, usually using a "This is a special price, and I can't hold it past today" approach.
We will never use tactics like these!
At Norton's Quality Exteriors:
- You will be contacted within 24 hours from the time we receive your request for an estimate.
- Our estimator will set up a time with you, to come out and evaluate your particular situation. We would like you to be present at this time so we can find out your needs, and gather enough information to put together a solution.
- During this visit, we discuss your wants and needs with you in detail, and listen to everything you say. We gather the information that we need – and then return to our office to prepare a detailed, professional estimate.
- When we have finished the estimate, we call you to set up an appointment to discuss it with you. We never drop off, fax, or mail an estimate.
- When we come back to your home with the estimate, we sit down with yo and explain the estimate. We point out how our solution addresses the issues that you told us about when we gathered the information for our estimate. We then answer any questions that you might have. By following this detailed approach, you receive all of the information that you need to make an educated decision about your home improvement project – and you can feel comfortable knowing that you have made the right decision by hiring Norton's Quality Exteriors to install your new windows, siding or roof.
- Once you make the decision to have Norton's Quality Exteriors install your new windows, doors, siding or roof, our internal quality control team will review your project to ensure that everything is just right.
- We will then you to let you know approximately when your job will be starting.
- Throughout the project, our office will also call you periodically, to let you know the status of your job in case things like weather have affected your start date.
- Our trained installation team will then come in to do the work in the most professional manner with the least amount of inconvenience to you and your neighbors.
- On completion of the job our foreman will ask that you come outside to look at the work, and to answer any questions that you may have.
